Each piece begins with a carefully rendered, lifelike subject, grounded in detail and familiarity, before being encroached upon by elements of disruption: pollution, exploitation, decay, or human interference. This contrast is intentional. By anchoring the viewer in something real and recognisable, I create a visual tension when artivist themes begin to invade the scene.
