“My work explores a personal category I describe as painted artivism— a fusion of realism and confrontation. Each piece begins with a carefully rendered, lifelike subject, grounded in detail and familiarity, before being encroached upon by elements of disruption: pollution, exploitation, decay, or human interference. This contrast is intentional. By anchoring the viewer in something real and recognisable, I create a visual tension when artivist themes begin to invade the scene. The result is not just an image, but a statement — where beauty and damage coexist, forcing the viewer to question humanity’s impact on the natural world.”

Execution by Industry
“A hyper-realistic great white shark cuts through the canvas, its presence powerful yet overshadowed by a suffocating man-made world. Trawler nets entangle the water, plastic waste drifts endlessly, and harsh industrial structures loom in the distance. The contrast is stark — nature rendered in striking detail, trapped within the chaos of human impact. This artivism piece reframes the shark not as a predator, but as a victim of overfishing, pollution, and relentless industry, serving as a sharp and unsettling warning of an ocean in decline.”
